after latest Steam client update my PS4 controller doesn't work with Genshin while Steam is running
it was working with no problem until today, even though Genshin launched in controller mode I couldn't get any controller input to work, it only started to work after I closed Steam and restarted the controller. I restarted my PC and it didn't help so now to play Genshin I have to close Steam or disable controller configuration in steam menu which means I can't use the controller button shortcuts or set a custom light color. I think it's Steam's fault and I hope it gets fixed soon

do you also have DS4Windows installed?
am wondering if this part of the update is related

Steam no longer ignores PS4 controllers when DS4Windows is running, allowing DS4Windows to remap them normally
