Rumble is just the worst possible things about YouTube amplified 100%.
Away with that junk.
The problem I see is if Valve enables Rumble videos, people will assume anything Rumble allows is OK on Steam and pitch a fit when they get moderated. It seems like a lot of infamous content creators end up there when they get banned from everywhere else. I can understand the appeal to Rumble users, or people who like it. But like it or not there's a lot of baggage with that some companies would rather not deal with.
But I suppose if you've got rumble videos you desperately need people to see, and your user profile is a major source of views, that's what the custom info box could be used for.
I mean, everyone knows Youtube. Rumble? Never heard of it before, probably never will ever again. There's no difference between that and every other Youtube "wannabe-competitor"...
There are already plenty people sharing cringy crap, pornography, fake news, scams and other shady crap online with little to no moderation of content. Just enabling embedded links to more of these video sharing or social media service will just open up a whole unwanted cans of worms that users, moderators and staff don't need for a platform such as Steam.
Vimeo videos already can be embedded.
