So My Libaries got deleted

Has this happend to any of you ? Had couple of Libraries in a single drive till today . Recognized none expect one and i am currently forced to install my already existing games beacuse moving games manually only resulted all of them to be deleted.

Like was i never meant to have more than 1 Library in a single drive or what? What changed since yesterday is beyond me.

Cheers Steam, lost all of workshop contents.

You should just be able to point steam to your new library folder. I did that when moving all of my games to a new drive years ago.

I did only to be greeted with "You can have only one library" or "It will be directed to a singular libary" or something around the lines.

I have done that each time i changed my TB HDD's but i really do not know what went super wrong. I guess it wasn't too bad since it got rid of games that i tough was deleted but still couple games will be pain to re-install.

Does the library have the appmanifest files inside the steamapps folder? They are necessary for Steam to detect the game files inside common.

No idea now since they were deleted alongside with games. Thanks tough i will keep in mind if i ever have multiple libaries again.

But what happend was steam did not recognize those libaries so i seen dragging games to one recognized folder was the only option. Launched steam and realized my drive gained 300 GB+ space and at that point i deleted rest of the libaries that were not recognized by Steam.

The client doesn't support this and you either used a 3rd party tool or a manual edit to accomplish this in the first place. Had you repeated the process you could've restored your libraries without losing anything.
