Switch or Deck?
Which would you rather use?
Personally looking at the specs...I don't regret going with the OLED switch. Hardly any difference in resolution and if a game is available on switch it will definitely work well.

That's a toughie. The Nintendo games (excluding indies on eShop) are generally high tier games, quality wise, and obviously unavailable on the Deck.

So long as you have a big library and enough verified titles to play, I prefer gaming on the deck.

I'm glad to have both, as choosing would be tough.

Switch for Nintendo exclusives only.

Steam Deck and other PC Handled devices for everything else.

Come on, gun to your head pick one. Its not a hard choice that requires consideration if you just pick all of the above cause your mr. money bags.

If that's the case then it would be "Steam Deck and other PC Handled devices". I rather have the freedom of PC than the restrictions of consoles.

Steam Deck. Bigger library, more open platform, more consumer friendly company.

Deck as Switch is about obsolete at this point.

They don't even do the same thing. Do you want to play nintendo games? The switch. Do you want to play pc games? The deck.

Nintendo have forgotten the face of their father, sai.

Kinda personal preference. Nintendo has great exclusive games, and they are actually designed to be played on the console... And is also cheaper.

But my personal choice is the Steam Deck. Better specs, and personally have a decently large library of games that I can put the Deck to good use for. That, and the fact that I got bored of the two exclusive series that drawn me to their consoles, Pokemon and Mario.

Deck, it is potential possible to play switch games on it.

I don't think I could ever go back to a Nintendo handheld after experience the level of control and customisation the Steam Deck offers: adjustable graphics settings, a refresh rate slider, frame rate locks, custom controls and more. If you want to play around you can go to desktop mode or install a whole new OS if you feel like it.

The games look and play how you want them to, and you're free to tweak things to get your desired performance level. It runs everything from small indie games all the way up to beefy AAA titles, and being able to play something like Spider-Man Remastered on a handheld is a real next-level gaming experience.

Yes, the system is more expensive than a Switch initially, but like comparing PC to console gaming you will save money in the long run. It plays your existing Steam library, online is completely free, and you can get games for much cheaper than you can on Switch.

Switch is of course better for the average consumer, but personally I got tired of paying full price for the Nintendo exclusives when they don't even perform well on the one system they're designed for. Frame drops in Zelda, and blurry resolutions in Xenoblade really put me off investing any more money in my Nintendo collection, so I gave my Switch away almost as soon as I got the Deck.

Depends on what your goal is, I prefer the switch, far cheaper, access to more games, etc. But if you want to game alot on the go and play your steam library then the deck makes more sense.
