Is the rule actually changed where if the game is M rated, and ONLY has nudity through mods, its now allowed? Cause a year or two back (and further), if it required mods, it couldnt be posted in the community hub.
I mean, The Witcher has nudity inside the game, so I would imagine because of that it's allowed for that game.
yeah, the rules on mods are a bit vague. If the volunteer mods still were around, they'd pipe up and say it wasn't allowed. But with a new mod team, I'm wondering if nudity is just more accepted in general on steam. There have been quite a few other threads about it for other games. I remember one big one was residential evil (which I believe similarily, only has nudity with mods). But I remember that thread got a bit much drama so I bailed out before seeing the outcome of that.
Besides specific games, there are people occasionally pop up complaining about seeing that stuff or games being allowed on steam that probably might be or might not be a bit much (the hitler one and some furry ones are commonly complained about).
My stance has always been the same, since steam allows porn games and hitler games with porn in it...always was weird the community hub was shunned for that same stuff.
Should really be able to set your profile to be 18+ to view, would solve that problem right quick. Which would mean you'd need to turn on adult content to VIEW certain profiles+click the +18 button). But thats not really to do with the topic entirely, just explaining my stance has remained the same for years as far as that goes.
Either way, it does seem if a game hub needs +18 to view it, since skyrim DOES have that, its probably open to nudity through mods in comparison before. With how much there is and how long they stay up...but I wouldnt really take that chance unless a steam mod said it was fine .
Except you have, and it doesn't make sense to claim you didn't.
Since it's all out there in the open.
Uh, What does that even mean?
Huh?
THis isn't Twitter, you have more than 150 characters.
I mean given that Fallout 2 has literally Sex-based perks and both Fallout 3 and 4 got literally strip clubs in them and entire relationship paths including Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 having perks and buffs for sleeping in the same bed your romanicing with then I dont see an issue with it.

Nudity is not porn.
You may be think like that due to social-cultural reasons.
Nudity = the simple abscence of clothes. May certainly be due to non-pornographic reasons.
Porn = anything directly related to sex, and can certainly involve clothed persons.
Very conservative non-Western cultures, or even some Western cultures, such as Memnomites, may certainly have a stricter definition than yours - i.e. skirts above the knee and shorts are "sexual" in nature.
Thank you, and very well said.
