Steam servers down

Help, as the title says i noticed steam servers are down. When i tried logging in i got a message saying "could not connect to the steam network" i went on my profile just to see it is inaccessible, same with almost every profile on steam including my friends, every single person i had on my friend list was replaced by their steam id as their username.

update: everything working fine now, i can finally waste my lifetime playing tf2

lol i was about to post something about this, i thought my steam was screwed up and tried a bunch of fixes and then stupidly uninstalled steam and redownloaded (which uninstalls all games) and i just finished downloading eso for like 3 days so i felt stupid finding out it was maintenance

Every single Tuesday, without exception, a handful of these threads will show up.

We will never get past Tuesday maintenance being a thing.
