all game data are not touched
but the ping will maybe get u banned or kicked from the servers due to high latency
that being said, there is zero reason to use a vpn.
side note, you have a low level account (tho owned for 6 years...), with barely any games and 1 friend.... cheater accounts or stolen accounts that are sold for cheap tend to look exactly like that....
Trying to identify accounts based on how they look is a fools errand. You're throwing spaghetti at the wall and using the fact that some sticks to validate your confirmation biases, while you ignore all the spaghetti on the floor.
Cast suspicions all you want, at some point it's just embarrassing though.

...that's in reference to my account, by the way.
except the fact that in almost every multiplayer game, people complaining in those forums about being game banned for cheating are majority low level accounts, with little to no games and barely any friends list, they also go as far as boosting game hours and many other things to try and look legit.
some are newly created accounts or new accounts that havent been setup, while most are stolen accounts being sold for cheap, to either be used for cheating, test cheats and/or spam phishing links to steal more accounts.
im not embarrassing myself when stating the truth, also i made no mention of private/friends only accounts...

....and that forum is full of threads just like that one.
true, but that doesnt change the fact that, what i mentioned is 99% always the case, in some games you can even track their accounts through specific sites and see how many alt accounts they have and how many have game/vac bans.
rust being one example.
All it takes to cheat is to be human.
what im saying isnt BS and you stating common sense isnt changing the facts.
dont think its true? use google, watch some rust cheater catching vids, ect... you can easily track a player/steam profile, find all his/her accounts and how many times they have been game banned.... its all very simple.
and again, low level accounts, barely any games and barely any friends, is 99% what you will see in the rust forums of people complaining about being game banned, facts are facts, sorry.
fyi, look at the rust general forum and mainly the "exploits" subforum where all the "i got banned", "banned for no reason", "i was hacked and game banned" threads end up, all i mentioned is exactly what you will see.
