How to get screenshots back after Steam reinstall

Had to reinstall Steam cause its broken with connection issues but some negative IQ genius also makes Steam automatically delete all of my screenshots that I've taken of the last 10 years.

How do I get back all these screenshots. Might try one trick

Data restore programs may be able to restore some pictures, unless the remaining data was already overwritten.

Rightclick on empty space inside Userdata in Steam > properties > View previous version. If you're lucky may have several dates select one and look for screenshots in UserData
You only have a short time to get them as windows creates a temp. Good Luck.
And if you ever want to uninstall Steam delete everything in steam folder > EXCEPT USERDATA AND STEAMAPPS < never delete

It's all gone, explorer says "There are no previous versions available"

My bad for assuming the vanilla uninstaller should not be used. Now I'll know and can warn other users.

Losing all of the screenshots that you didn't upload to Steam must be very upsetting. It's nice that you want to help other Steam users so that it doesn't happen to them, too.

Reinstall Steam
The Steam installer can be downloaded here: ( http://store.steampowered.com/about/ ) and reinstalled to the same location where it is already installed.

This may fix potential issues with Steam client and service files. Installing into same location will preserve all installed games.

WARNING! Uninstalling Steam through any other method will delete all game and userdata content.

Where they on the same drive 10 years?
Otherwise there are other places.

And if on the same drive 10 years, could have been gone another way. Backup what you want to keep.
