bethesda launcher migration to steam?
Bethesda games from the launcher are getting a migration to steam, in an article it says in april.

It's April 7th, when is this going to happen?

Sometime between the 8th and the 30th, I guess.

Where did you see the article?

in april. There's still 23 days in which it could happen.

Patience is a virtue. Seen any of those idiots on the Steam Deck Reddit forum screaming Sodom & Gomorra about not getting their Q1 order when it was beginning of March? Yeah, don't be like them.

hmm, well at least one company has learned people dont like third party launchers, now we just wait for the rest, tho its sad to see at least for bethesda still pushing the account sign-in nonsense, maybe someday soon they will change that as well.

They haven't learned ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's just that MS wants to cut down on it's diverse store landscape. They already got 2 to service (XBox/Windows Store as their prime product, Steam as the relief valve for the rest of us), another store is additional cost without any benefit.

honestly dont care about microsucks, i havent touched their store once since they launched it back in the day and will continue not using it, as for all other third party launchers... i will bypass them and for the ones that cant be bypassed, i dont buy their games.

Great for you, I guess? I'd rather take the options that there are instead of artificially limiting myself. Even more so with Origin/Uplay being way less intrusive, than any launcher from a Bethesda game, the Square launcher or, really, all of them. Got myself Mirror's Edge 2 & Titanfall 2 pretty much the moment they came to Steam and Origin really isn't that big of a problem. But hey, if that edgy ("microsucks" isn't even an new one) extremism tickels your pickle, be my guest. Or your guest, actually.

By the way, Quantum break nor Halo don't even have own launchers on Steam, so yeah...

the only store fronts i use are steam and battlenet (im not touching others as i dont need 800 different game store apps on my pc) and as mentioned above, if a game on steam adds in their third party launcher to their steam version... i just bypass it with launch options, if i find a game that cant be bypassed i dont buy their game.

am i limiting my options? yes and i could care less, as mentioned, i dont want or need more game store apps or launchers, im fine with the ones i have.

Well, not needing more stores with Steam being the juggernaut it is, that's exactly why I ain't got Battle.net installed nor getting any games there. Looks like I'm a better principle driver than you are :p

well i like their games (sc1/2, diablo1/2/2R) and they dont sell their games on steam, so had no choice on that front, but not bothering with the rest of the store fronts.
