Hardware Return Issues
Hello, I'm not here to start any sort of debate or anything. But i was curious if anyone else had any issues with hardware returns with Valve? I returned my steamdeck and according to the UPS tracking info it was received by Valve on 3/28. I contacted them a few times and the last i heard was 7 days ago on March 30th they "reached out to the warehouse for more information". Since then i haven't had any updates and they are currently not responding to my help thread anymore. I am pretty upset as this is $420 and i don't have the steam deck any longer. I find it frustrating that there is no phone number for support and that they are not even responding to me or being helpful. Anyway, just hoping someone has some insight or ideas as to how to get this moving forward.

Why do you think you need to do anything to make this move forward?
I mean you know they received it, so all you have to do is wait for it to be repaired or replaced.

I know people have waited up to three weeks for their replacements Decks. There's been some talk about it in the Steam Deck section: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/0/

And in the following thread, someone mentioned it took them 3 weeks.

Sorry I’m not trying to get it repaired or replaced. I’m trying to get a refund. My biggest issue right now is that they won’t even confirm that they received the unit and that they won’t respond to my inquiries. I’m concerned that they won’t acknowledge that they even received it back so I’m worried they will just ignore it and I’ll be out my $420 and the deck.

I’m curious about the end result as well. Had to finally send mine back as well due to not being able to resolve some issues with the hardware, it has been 3 days for me, and there has been no word on anything. Did you ever get your refund?
