can i trade/return gifted games that I don't like?

I have several games I bought and others that my husband bought me that I will never play. I tried them, didnt like them etc. However If I can trade them in for other games or a % of value that would be great.

They cannot be traded or sold, no. The licenses are permanently tied to the account.

No. Licenses are not transferable or tradeable. They're a permanently associated with your account and if you don't like or care about them you can add them to your hidden folder. There is not additional value or utility to extract from them.

The reason for that is it would create a secondary market and no store trying to sell products retail really has much incentive to cannibalize that market by also supporting a secondary market.

One of the major selling points for digital distribution is it would put the kibosh on the secondary market that game makers haven't really been a fan of for the last forty years.
