Flash Games on Steam

Not sure if this has been done before, but I'm curious about games on steam that were originally flash games. Whether they're ports, remasters, remakes, sequels, or spin-offs of classic flash games. I'm attempting to make a list.

Dino Run DX
Doodle God + Doodle Devil
Fish Tycoon
Gunbrick: Reloaded
Learn to Fly 3
N++ (NPLUSPLUS)
Ninja Kiwi Archive
Robot Wants It All
Super Fancy Pants Adventure
Super Meat Boy
The Henry Stickmin Collection

These are the ones I know off the top of my head. I'm sure there's a lot more, so let me know which ones I missed.

You can create that tag yourself.
However, are you sure those were originally Flash games? As an example, how do you know for sure Super Meat Boy was?

Bloons TD6 isn't a flash game, there is no flash counterpart on the NinjaKiwi site. TD5 was indeed one.

While Meat Boy was indeed flash, Super Meat Boy was not.

Tags should be correct, so "flash" is incorrect for sequels that had no actual flash counterpart.

Any of the games published by Armor Games or Kongregate likely are originally flash games. They're Flash games sites.

What exactly do you mean by "flash counterpart"? Bloons tower defense 6 is part the bloons tower defense series, which was originally a flash game. It's a sequel to a classic flash game, so that's why I included it on the list. Same with super meat boy, it's a sequel to the flash game meat boy.
Also thanks for linking the publisher pages. I'll check them out later and add stuff to the list.

No, it should not.

Tagging games by what something else in the series is/was would be needlessly confusing. And pretty much run counter the whole point of the tag system: to describe THAT PARTICULAR game.

And here's where I disagree. Tags on a store page for a game are there to describe the game, not it's prequels. Unless the tag is something along the lines of "sequel to a Flash game", that's quite the mouthful, but it's not misleading.

That said, tags are still user-generated. So if you think a Flash tag should exist, go ahead & tag along. But please don't label non-Flash games as "Flash".

Yeah since Flash isn't playable "through" steam without jumping through hoops provided by ninjakiwi or flashpoint... They don't have flash games and shouldn't be tagged as such.

I get what you MEAN, but it's not really worth doing, since it will lead to confusion.

I'm editing the post since everyone seems to be focusing on tag part. I only brought it up because if there was a list of games tagged with "flash" it would have been a good place to start, but there's not. I wasn't planning on tagging anything.
I just want to know what games on steam started as flash games in some way.

Games which require (where made with) flash to run usually have the flash.exe (in whatever version they used) in the game directory and run with that.....like the initial release of Binding of Isaac.

So now it would depend on how you define flash game, a game which originates from a website when they still used flash, or a game made with flash even if it was never a browser game.
