Though I'm seeing comics, D&D content, etc. All using Draconia since 2011 or even earlier.
The OP edited their post from "copyright" to "trademark" ... which suggests to me they didn't know the difference and have neither.
But Draconia as a name hasn't existed until 2012.
Given it's an unregistered trademark on essentially a WORD, I'm going to grab some popcorn and watch the fun begin.
Yes, originally the game was brought to my attention when I noticed a piece of artwork from it on the art site DeviantArt.
I attempted to bring notice then and there, but they didn't listen.
What?
Draconia is part of D&D for Draconians.
If you attempt to trademark Draconia, Wizards of the Coast will sue you into the ground. :P
Also, you cannot trademark words like that.
Also, please show an example of why this violates trademark laws.
Also, provide evidence that you own this trademark.
Seriously, don't claim that you have trademark on a word when it's part of another word. :P
Then, if what you say is true and you own the trademark, you should contact a lawyer, don't try litigation without one. Well, that's what I recommend anyways. Consultations are sometimes free, just check the ones in your state and they'll tell you the rest.
EDIT: Ohh and I mean that you shouldn't do anything else without a lawyer. When filing a DMCA you do so under perjury. It's a rather serious thing, just so you know.
There's also a webseries circa 2011 that uses Draconia, and several other books that use Draconia.
My claim is only over the names "Draconia" and "Draconia City". Not "Draconian". Besides, "Draconian" been in use since the 1700s at least, I'd be crazy to attempt a claim on that.
