docs.google.com blocked ?
Why is the direct link from ( docs.google.com ) blocked by Steam, this is only happening today.
Has Google become a scam company ?
I hope Steam will solve the problem and return the situation to the way it was pls

Don't use the Steam browser. Problem solved.
If a friend of mine sends me a docs, I have to copy and paste it into the browser instead of pressing it directly, it's annoying.
We deal with docs on a daily basis
What part of gaming platform are you having trouble with?
Install the Google app and be done with it.
Don't bother thinking the Steam browser as a "real browser".
Really just use a real browser and open tab with Google docs link.
Guys I am not looking for solutions.
I am discussing, I would like to know why it was (docs) flagged as malicious site !!
I never had issues while playing Darksiders 3 for checking stats, locations, etc.

Seems like it's Steam's fault, not Google's.

Again, you want to view them? Use a real browser.

All people can do is speculate, but since nobody here actually works for Valve, nobody will be able to give you a definitive answer to that. And no, people from Valve don't actually post here.

It's likely an error. In the meantime, use the solutions presented.
I see the problem to this, and yea it's weird why they label that as potentially malicious.

There no issue viewing the site if you just copy, and paste it into the broswer, but it's an issue when clicking on the link, which I assume going through the filtering system on Steam before going to the site. https://imgur.com/hzvuykd
Likely because it is http:// instead of https://. Http: urls are considered to be less secure than https:// urls, because https:// is encrypted, while http:// is not.

Do a simple internet search "http vs. https": https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/ssl/why-is-http-not-secure/
It's a basic security issue, and there are a thousand different opinions on whether it matters or not. Steam and Cloudflare tend to mark http links as not-secure, so they will not redirect to them, and will issue a warning about potential security issues.
Just a test.

Yep. the link they are showing in the OP is clearly an http link, not an https link.
Did you even read the OP?

Did you read my post where I added the s to the link as a test? Go ahead and click on it. Tell me if anything different happens.

Pretty much any site using ssl will have any traffic that hits port 80 immediately redirect to 443 anyway. It only shows as http in Steam because it hasn't hit the server yet and had a chance to redirect it, but that's normal and expected.

Adding an "s" at the end for your test has nothing to do with the url the OP posted as having generated the error and blocked link. Test on the exact link the OP is saying caused the error, not one you altered for your test. Http will be blocked, https usually will not. It's a pretty simple thing. Test the given link, not the one you altered for the test.

You have no idea what you are talking about. This has zero to do with https. Again, sites that use https will almost always redirect their traffic, as valve is aware of and expects, hence why http links are NOT blocked which you'd figure out for yourself if you spent 30 seconds testing it instead of going on about things you don't understand.
