Do Wishlists Show Already-Purchased Gifts?

Say someone purchases a gift for a friend off their wishlist, and schedules it to be delivered at a later date. For instance, Dec 25. If a mutual friend were then to look at that same wishlist, would that game still show up, or would it be absent from the list to everyone but the wishlist holder?

As long as you do not own the game in your account, it will remain in your wishlist.

But only if purchased through Steam. If it's purchased by any other means, it remains on the wishlist.
