Help me please

Hi everyone, I was recently blackmailed into buying 2 €100 steam gift cards, I'm already making a report against the responsible person, I went to contact my bank to see if I could get the money back, they said I had to talk to the person related to this product but I can't find anything here that helps me, do any of you know how to solve this?

I hope you didn't give them those, because once you do no matter what it's basically considered a GIFT.

In any scenario, you can get access back to your account if that's what the main issue is. Else, whatever is going on depends on the details behind everything. Valve can't assist you with 'blackmail', but authorities can, if you get information on the individual(s) behind it, though you're lacking any and all important details.

Support can only help with Billing & Account issues, including account recovery. You can report accounts that attempt scams to Steam, and discord accounts can be reported to discord.

Else, no one can help you or really suggest anything accurately, if you don't give enough information.

Odds are you're not getting the money back any time soon. If ever. If this is through the Internet, it makes the authorities jobs a lot more difficult, not to mention if they're in a completely different country.

Unfortunately the only way is probably going to be to work and pay your mom back yourself. It sucks but sometimes you just gotta pay up for your messups and learn from it as you move forward.
