However there really isn't a rule against using a murderer's picture for your profile picture. Aside from it being a fresh wound and a sore spot for a buncha people.

People are gonna be trollish about it because it was a polarized issue. That's never gonna change and you're not gonna have much luck managing that behavior. And demanding Valve uphold your values probably is a recipe for unhappiness.

Valve's job isn't erase Kyle Rittenhouse from the Internet. And it's not to give you a superficial feeling of justice against people you don't like.
