Why so many peoples beg for rate and favored to their Screenshots,Artworks?

I saw lot just normal common Screenshots and Artworks(Usually not they Actually* created them) stuffs has very many thumbs up and favorite
also lot another Rate and Favored beggars AKA R&F Beggars with many Heart emotes from steam
I have just simple curious about Why they want R&F so badly? Is this things make money to them?
I never seen Any advertisement or any similar thing from them (or maybe I just can't find them yet?)
or just wanna be Celeb on Steam Community? It just make me remind the Elsa Gate again

Yep, same stuff as on any other social platform. I take like 2 screens hots a day. I am happy if plp on it comment me or thumbs up. That is enough. Others just need more

Why does that falsify their statements? People beg because they wish to get what they beg for.
The fact that they will most likely not receive it doesn't change the fact though

This is what any social media done to your minds, it's like a drug.
Or it even much worse; they craving for things that desn't even exist physically; virtual nothingness, just some colorful pixels on their monitors.
I think this is what happens when someone has nothing better to do and just hangs on social platforms.
All of these platforms are a serious mental healt risks.

A bunch of people on this platform are transforming into robots. Oh! someone posted a comment in my group saying things like "add4add and please like my artwork or else i will blow up your house" I honestly miss gaming platforms that had the old stereotype that people know and do things on point like making friends, talking about how fun those games they were playing and listening to one of Ariana Grande's newest album at 2am while your parents talk about divorce in the dining room. Now, It's just sad hearing someone who reached out to something when the OP made this post. Everything in your description is just accurate and true. I don't like people acting like robots in this platform, begging for votes and having those names like "shino" which doesn't increase fame because this platform isn't hollywood, also there's this type of living species that flex stuff like having 10,000 hours on each game in their games library. I have no idea what kind of breed they came from. If you know the reason why people on instagram beg for likes and followers then It's the same thing that they're doing it here, just the goals that they hope to accomplish here are different.
I believe all we could do now is just forget about it and let the time pass.
