why steam allows developers like "cheesecake dev"
they are known to be scammer, just release the game a month or two they dont update it anymore and try to release new game, you dont get support from them, games are full of bugs that not gonna fixed, and games are pretty empty, some people can tell this is how indie works, no thats not how indie works, this is how scamming works by creating cash grab games, stardew valley is indie game too and concernedape's fame is a lot cleaner than this scammer, you can just lookup for cheesecake dev and find few website that discuss about their cash grab games.

If you think that's bad, then you have no idea what you're saying.

So, don't buy their games. Simple as that. If they don't profit from their low effort games, they'll either put more effort into their games, or simply stop slinging them.
I looked this developer up and saw that his latest game has 72% positive reviews, costs €16,49 and has a 3,527 player peak. And another one of his games even has 82% positive reviews.

So i wonder if you can call it a scammer if almost 3 out of 4 people like the game enough to leave a positive review and the developer sold this many copies, even with a relatively high pricetag for an indie game.
Just put it on ignore. There are countless way worse than that one in particular. Copy paste game publishing has gone to a new level. You can even find exact same games back to back, with a slightly different title.

There are also many games that are soon to be released, with a set date of 2021, and the oldest I found was May of 2020.

The ignore function works wonders. When the spam sales get sent out, I get a blank page, and no seizure inducing advertisements for low effort games.

you probably only checked internet cafe simulator 1 or 2, its their only game that went good, and this happend because of twitch hype, not from game quality itself,

Funny how you mention Stardew Valley as the posterboi of Indie devs and yet ignore all the Indie devs who put effort and crap into their games and still didn't make it.

Also why are you bothered? ignore the Dev/Publisher and move on and play your Stardew Valley

Indeed. There is not a standard for what games are on Steam, but they give us the tools to do it ourselves. :cozyroe:

Well tyhey don;t release that many games per year and they aren't technically bad. Most of their games are mixed, with one that's objectively negative. Not surprisingly most of their early games were pioor and their more recent games are bettetr.

They are a dev studio that is improving and finding their niche.

Keep in mind, you are defending a developer that is known for using unauthorized likenesses and branding. Keep in mind, their known for being comically bad. I have no problem with them existing, but I definitely would not be putting myself into their corner.

Except that his is how indie works. Actually, it's how entertainment products as a whole work. Some are good, some are bad.

Ignore the ones you don't like. There is no reason to not allow games on a store just because you don't like them.

So they're basically the equivalent of Troma FIlms.
That's great!.
Bad and comical is better than good and bland.

Lol, you are not even familiar with the product, yet you are willing to be a keyboard warrior for them. Go you. :taloslol: Like I said. I do not care that they exist. I just would not want my name associated as someone who supports a company that makes intentionally bad games and continues to break laws.
