SteamVR "Please plug in your VR headset"
I have an MSI GE75 Raider 9SG-283 Laptop. It has a RTX2080 and 9th gen i7.
I just got an Samsung HMD Odyssey Plus headset and I'm unable to get steamVR to see it. Mixed Reality Portal sees it just fine, but steam is having an issues. I've checked out all the touble shooting, uninstalled rebooted, reinstalled steamVR rebooted, and SteamVR not seeing the headset.

SteamVR System Report:

Thank for any help in advance!

Yes, checked and verified multiple times.
Four years later, and I have a similar problem, if not the same one. After some digging I find this article that tells me that there's a pluggin to Steam that you download and launch. It bypassed the problem for me and here is the article:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/enthusiast-guide/using-steamvr-with-windows-mixed-reality

Hope this helps someone else

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
