you should remove the images from your post, if they are not appropriate, why would you advertise them by posting them?
i am reporting them, as i said in the OP:
so yeah, reporting is not proper solution to this problem, the filter i supposed to exist so i wouldn't have to unwillingly to see this stuff in the first place.
i would gladly remove the spoilered images but from my past experience i would get called a prude, religious zealot or gay that gets triggered from the mere sight of females. so im obligated to show proof that this is not the case
My settings are to allow any and all sexual and violent content, including explicit sexual content. I checked the cross-game community artwork section and scrolled for a while. As expected, I found nudity and sexually explicit content.
I went into my preferences.
Under "Store Content Preferences" > "Mature Content", I unchecked "Nudity or Sexual Content" and "Adult Only Sexual Content".
Under "Community Content Preferences" > "Violence and Sexual Content", I unchecked both "Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent violence or gore" and "Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent nudity or sexual content".
Again I checked the cross-game community artwork section. There were a few blurred pictures, but no nudity could be found. The most sexually explicit images I could find involved bikini tops and the occasional thong-clad female rear-end. Only one image I could find suggested the presence of nipples, and even then they were covered.
"Ah ha!" you might say. "See! You enabled the filters and still saw such content! Proof it doesn't work!"
Well, I guess that all depends on your definition of "Sexual content". From what I could see, there was nothing there that wouldn't be allowed on a public billboard advertisement or mall storefront. (At least here in the US.) Nothing I could find with the filters enabled would have upset the censors for a prime-time television show.
So from where I'm sitting, it seems like the filters are working, and maybe you just need to adjust your preferences. Maybe you don't have some of the filters enabled. Maybe you previously saw some images that slipped through those filters, but have seen been reported and properly tagged.
If those filters aren't enough for you, then perhaps you should just stay out of the community artwork section? Much like how if you don't want to unwillingly subject your eyes to a bikini clad woman you should never visit a public beach.
you can see the examples to what passes through the NSFW filter in my OP, they are blatant nudity/semi nudity. and i have all possible filter prefrences on.
i don't mind seeing actual women in actual bikinis, what im talking about is exaggerated crap like oversized breasts are only covered by either transpaperent or tiny piece of fabric that barely manages to cover the nipple, while having a thirsty facial expression with a tongue out. - you know, the blatant sexual stuff that no one will try calling them SFW.
and again, it should be up for the uploaders to decide what they deem sexual, and tag them as NSFW appropiratly.
even if not all the users will tag the stuff i deem sexual, it will still dramatically reduce the amount of smut shoved up my face every time i visit art galleries, there is literally 0 reason to have this unless the steam community UI is secretly unsalavagable spaghetti code that can't be updated without wasted coutless hours
it is far easier to let people mark the stuff themselves and let the community report problems.
im simply suggesting to allow users to have the ability to mark their uploads as NSFW.
right now this feature doesn't exist at all and that's really sad.
that's it. nothing complicated at all.
nothing else needs to be changed
should.... i miss took it for shouldnt as in should not
aaa ♥♥♥♥♥♥. welp i fixed this now, thanks for letting me know.
sadly i think this caused the thread to lose relevance, guess ill have to try again on the suggestion forum after a few days have passed
Secondly hypocritical to complain of NSFW images then posting examples of what you deem NSFW images under spoiler tags.
And finally you obviously took your time "browsing" the content to find them.
A. the suggestion is for people to have the ABILITY to tag them as nsfw. right now, no such option EXISTS, i am forced to rely on a defective poorly optimized filter instead of the uploader's own judgement.
if the uploader honestly belives his upload is not sexual it wouldn't be nearly as frustrating as having the image simply pass through the filter.
B. the images i posted in the example are all images i stumbled upon them, all of them passed through my filter even though they were blatantly NSFW. it is undeniable proof the filter is a completele faliure and that users should have the option to tag their own uploads
No the suggestion is you do not want to see them but more interesting is you are in this group.

And do not seem to have a problem with this image which based on your thread would be NSFW.

i only joined this group because of my friend who's a die-hard Lina main from dota2
i haven't visited that group in years and either way that image you posted is not nearly as sexual as the examples i demonstarted
Irrelevant why you joined the group.
Secondly it contains an image which could be deemed NSFW based on the premise of your thread.
And finally "not nearly as sexual," still makes it sexual based on the premise of your thread and is not a defence because you seemingly deem it is not and have decided what is.
REPORT said images and if they are not removed accept it and move on.
It makes little sense to have other users mark other peoples artwork
