what the wrong thing about steam now, indies game started to use "Support ukraine" to get attention. likely this support thing make entire user goes violate steam rules and guidelines, valve shouldnt let dev do this kind of support from the first place... dev doesnt even need to worry about losing their own money, since t's from gamer who buy their game and send those money for donation and they get credits for it.....
will we see hentai game using this "Support ukraine" in the future? is it allowed or steam will bann it because it's "Adult game" while kids who doesnt even understand war, now got to see games banner about support a nation in war
Good to know thanks.
So Russians can still buy games if using non russian banks or payment methods like gift cards. Also as mentioned its international sanctions
Visa said on Monday it was taking prompt action to ensure compliance with applicable sanctions, adding that it will donate $2 million for humanitarian aid. Mastercard also promised to contribute $2 million.
"We will continue to work with regulators in the days ahead to abide fully by our compliance obligations as they evolve," Mastercard said in a separate statement late on Monday.
