Steam Not Opening (But running in background) Windows 11

Just had to uninstall Steam, loosing all installed games, because of an issue after installing Windows 11. Steam wouldn't show on screen but was active in task bar. Restarting Windows did not help. Couldn't find a fix other than uninstall/reinstall. Just a heads up for those that updated. Maybe a fresh install of Windows 11 would fix the issue, who knows, but I bet the problem will persist for me until I do that, we'll see.

I wanted to add that closing the process before a restart did nothing and that Big Picture would show on screen when selected from task bar, but that's it. I would think the issue would reset after a shutdown/reboot but none of that worked.

i did the update windows 11 and had to reinstall steam over the top
to stop repeated steam update downloads but apart from that everything
is working fine

i went to the steam web page got the installer and just installed..

I think Alt-Tabbing while in a game started my issue. I will avoid that from now on.

upgrading drivers especially gpu drivers can fix bugs here and there as well...

the steam hardware and OS forum is your best place for tech help...

All drivers and updates were already done before issue, it has nothing to do with something not updated or missing...It was clearly something within Steam's code since the uninstall fixed it.
