"This item was moved or deleted"
I see these now and then in the notifications. It would be nice to at least have some clue about "WHAT" thread was moved or deleted, at least the title.

why do you need to know? if the thread was deleted, then its GONE. knowing the title does little. if your posts in that thread dont provide you with enough clues about what the thread was about, then it was clearly not that important of a thread.

How do I know which of my posts were in the thread if I don't even know what the thread was?

upper LEFT corner, HELP, select Steam Support, Select My Account, select Data related to my account, Comment and Discussion Posts.

you will see all your posts, including the ones that got deleted.

why does it matter? the thread was removed.

EDIT: Got the left and right mixed up, my bad.

Curiosity?

Not seeing the steam support, following any of the icons on the upper right. I'm just looking for a way to have an idea what the thread was, I'm not really seeking a discussion about why I want to know.

Well, “check your comment history” was offered. Here’s a link to Support.

OK, not the upper right of the screen, but the upper right of the menu which in turn is located entirely at the top left of the screen. Thanks.

When it says 'item', I suppose that could mean just a comment in a thread, not the entire thread. If that's the case, knowing your own comment history won't necessarily clue you in on other people's comments that you've probably never read, especially when you have multiple discussions going on at the same time. Well, it would be nice if it at least tells you from which thread it was removed even with omitting the content and author.

They definitely need to fix this. It's so annoying.

You can see deleted postings here and with that see what thread it was posted in.

Ohh, sorry but that is the closest you get to figure what topic it was.
Valve do not offer a way to see name of the topic, it's a shame that's not an option.
