That's false. You got an exclusion list of tags for the store. Which is separate from that for the queue (last time I checked it was).

Thanks, I remember messing with these settings because I wanted to buy a GTA game, but then I forgot where the settings were when I wanted to block some tags and I'm to tired and lazy to search for it.

You can have Steam show you unfiltered search result anytime. Useful, if you want to get to a filtered-out game in a pinch.

Must be getting confused with another store, or just outright forgot. Either not surprising with me. Least I got the preferences part correct. Thanks for the correction. Will try and remember for the future

steam store is broken, i have a crap ton of stuff that should be EXCLUDED but steam still shows them to me, over the years i didn't believe a lot of my friends of how broken steam is, past 2 years has really shown it their database is trash, i get harassed by games all the time that should be EXCLUDED , i only have English set , but past while , im getting harassed by games in languages i don't have selected , so stupid why try and sell me games in languages i do not speak or understand, same harassment you get from facebook. and ironically it got even worse after i complained to steam support about this, many many many times and nothing was done.

Thanks to troll users many games are wrongly tagged as having nudity, sexual content, etc.

You can't win when customers get to purposely mess up game tags for fun.
