From my point of view it is Steam's fault for allowing this to happen in the first place. For many years I have paid for my games in USD and had no issues, now they are forcing on us to pay more due to currency change.
Either way, and regardless who should I support or not, the facts are that Steam is now selling in a much higher prices than is fair and reasonable. I'm not willing to pay 99$ for a 60$ game, therefore I'm going to use resellers from now on.
These guys rip off in ILS on Steam alone, everywhere else they're behaving.
These publishers / devs aren't my friends, they're just doing business. It seems perfectly logical to me to get the same product they're selling for cheaper somewhere else.
They can be ♥♥♥♥♥ on Steam all the want, who gives a flying ♥♥♥♥.
Yeah, either that or reverting back to USD.
As long as prices are unified and reasonable. Until then, I'm no longer buying from Steam.
Here, I've Tweeted to them on behalf of anyone who wants to steal cars and commit atrocities ;)

Steam! There is no other serious company who will suddenly force their clients to use some currency - ALWAYS there is an available option for clients to choose currency! This is NOT hard to implement! WHY?! we, clients must ask so much for such minor things?! And I'm not even talking about HIGH PRICES on some games! This is RIDICULOUS!
1. Do you observe double currency conversion (like top up 10 ILS and get charged 10.10 ILS instead). If that is so - I've a topic for that, please describe your experience:

2. screwed prices. Look at RU - they havewhat they have now due to ruble crashing from 30rub/usd to 60 rub/usd. Prices are set by the publisher - you should tell them, not Steam, that they are wrong. and then you are either charged in ILS or price gets converted back to USD and you get charged in USD, converted to ILS = double conversion happens and you are charged extra :).
I can't believe someone will have problem with 0,10 ILS added. We have much more problems with HIGHEST prices in Steam Store and retarded impossibility to change currency from shekels to $....
The 1-1,5% can easily grow to whatever when the rate becomes unstable - we, in Ukraine, have already seen banks putting buy/sell rates with over 10% difference (even while they are limited by laws to 5% or smth). And international institutions aren't even limited by that.
Besides, Kuwait guys write about significant prices increase also.
In xUSSR - we do have some titles increase up to 40% (mostly cheap games) and no more $0.07 games in store.
Only league of geologists will help us! 4tobi obossat' etix yebkov!

Only if we will sit quietly and not protest this awful update.
