Screenshot Folder?
In the Steam settings I selected the folder My Pictures/Steam. The first few times I used it (F12 key in game) it saved it to my selected folder. Then it started saving it somewhere else on my HDD. I checked my settings and it still shows that screenshots should be saved in the My Pictures/Steam folder. Any ideas on what’s happening with my screenshots being saved somewhere else? Thanks in advance for any and all help provided.

It's the folder for uncompressed screenshots. The regular ones get saved wherever they get saved.

More specifically.

Steam\userdata\<User ID>\760\remote\<App ID>\screenshots

Thanks for the replies guys. So what's the purpose of the selecting a folder if they end up in the Steam\userdata\<User ID>\760\remote\<App ID>\screenshots folder anyway?

So you can get copies in a folder of your choice.

It is also in case you uninstalled Steam and didn't back them up yourself.

It's organised. Just not in a way you're use to.
