Of course not. Accounts are only deleted on explicit request and following an extensive process. If you sell your PC, format the harddrive. Have the new owner install a fresh copy of whatever OS he wants.

Format the harddrive. Don't do manual deletions, just format the thing.

Depends how paranoid you are, formatting certainly wont remove the data and it is recoverable easy enough. Unless its like a nice big expensive SSD you want to sell i wouldnt sell the HDD/SSD with the PC.

Oxy Acetylene works.

As long as you keep separate records of your login info, you should have no problem installing any of the launchers or games on your new computer. Deleting something off a hard drive has never removed the game from an account. The account is yours forever even if the hardware you temporarily put things on is reformatted or changed.

You can try to sell it without the hard drive, or maybe try using some kind of eraser program that will overwrite deleted files multiple times with random data. And a good one will also allow you to overwrite all unused space on the drive as well. Unfortunately this can take a really long time if the drive is particularly large.

Yes. delete all the games, etc. Then from your new PC, go in and change all the passwords. Then any old passwords that can be found will be useless. A PC is more valuable with a legitimate licence for an operating system (Windows) on it.

If you're worried about your Steam account then as mentioned, you should format the hard drive, reinstall the OS.

This is better. If you know how to install again. I would still change passwords. because I am paranoid like that.

Shoot the hard drive from long distance with a gun, be sure to use safety equipment and revel in your 2nd amendment freedom while you still have it.

Only way to be sure.

But he can't, Indonesian don't have guns. Well, unless he's a police or military officer.

Seriously tough, OP, you can put old hardrive to your new PC, use minitool delete all partision and reformat the drive and put it back.
