Is there a tool that can automatically download and set custom library artwork?
A lot of games still don't have artwork that fits in the new Steam Library.

I found a lot of user made artwork on this website
https://www.steamgriddb.com/

But does anyone knows is there a tool that can scan what games we own and automatically download and apply artwork?

While such a tool is highly plausible to work at one point or another, for now you can also fill in the gaps yourself by doing the following:

1. Fetch the ID of any games that may lack artwork compatible to the new library. This can be done online through Steam databases.

2. Goto ...\Steam\appcache\librarycache\

3. Search for said game-ID through this folder in order to find any relevant existing artwork as easily as possible.

4. Fill in the missing artwork manually, while following the same name-format as every other title in said format.

As an example, the original Counter Strike (ID: 10) utilises the following files:
10_header.jpeg 10_icon.jpeg 10_library_600x900.jpeg 10_library_hero.jpeg 10_library_hero_blur.jpeg 10_hero.png
Some or all of these files, corresponding to any given game-ID, may or may not be missing at this time, by default.

Whether the same can be said for non-Steam-titles and Tools, and whether these are tied to a notable ID that may be used in a similar fashion or not remains to be confirmed, however.

Since this is unanswered and I found it through Google. I just wanted to leave an answer to the next finder. SGDBoop is a tool to automatically add Steam Grid DB icons to your steam install. You still have to go to SGDB to find the icons, but it makes it a 1-click install.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
