Help: Issue with camera jumping straight up while moving mouse
I've had an issue in multiple games where my camera will snap to be looking straight up when I move my mouse. It happens in both Valheim and Apex Legends, but I suspect it would happen in other titles as well. I have video of it happening in Valheim.

I'm using a Logitech G502 Hero and really don't believe it's to blame. I've used Reddragon mice in the past and remember the issue with those as well.

No controllers are plugged in, though I do use a wireless Xbox mouse for other games.

I think I recall a work-around from before that involved disabling controller support for certain controller types, but I can't find that now. I've tried unchecking all boxes in steam settings, and the issue persists. I've also tried messing with specific game properties, and finding controller support in there and disabling all, but again, the camera still snaps straight up.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Wasn't sure where to share this to make it easily accessible, but hopefully YT will suffice: https://youtu.be/_-DaUKrIiLQ

Disconnect that wireless XBox gamepad first, so it can't possibly get in between. Then, check your device manager. Is there anything else input-related? I've seen people installing "helpful" software which installs virtual gamepads that cause this behaviour.
