Steam games are PC games that can't be transferred to a console.

Wrong format . Thats how developers reach the market for different devices. Everything has digital rights managers to prevent their product being used on a device that has not been granted use of it.

If you want to play games on your tv with a controller you could hook up an xbox 1 controller or get one of those programs to allow you to use a PS4 controller, and then stream your pc screen to your tv.

If you can't stream your screen then you can hook up the pc itself for a giant monitor.

Jaunitta, it is not that simple by any means. It isn't just DRM, it's a flat out different development cycle.
