Will steam refund a game that is 10 minutes over 2 hours?
I just bought Doom and played it but didn't like it, so i decided to get a refund and i had forgotten i played Doom multiplayer for for 10 minutes and i already played the campaign for 2 hours. So my question is can i get a refund if I'm 10 minutes over 2 hours? :cleandino:

I did a paragraph explaining that I didn't want to judge such a big game by it's first two hours once cuz I played it for 3 hours and I still got a refund. Just write something to explain it.

You will probably be rejected initially but if you open a ticket afterwards and explain you may get lucky.

The rule is 2 hours tho, if they say no theres not much you can do

Just ask.

Try that.
Or, go to Steam help, find the game, click that you have more questions, and enter a manual ticket.

The refund policy can be pretty lenient since you're not supposed to use the refund for judging a game.

Anything outside the refund policy is considered on a case-by-case scenario so they may say "yes" but they also may say "no" to your refund request regardless of the refund reason.

I asked for a refund after playing several hours (20 hours as I recall...) past the two hour rule on Fallout New Vegas. I knew completely it was past their general rule so I was not going to make a big deal about it. I only explained I did not realize that I was going to like Fallout New Vegas so much and I had only bought the base game. Now I wanted the rest of the content, but they only had the packaged deal, not the bundle, meaning I was still paying for an extra copy of the base game without actually getting it.

I did not want to rebuy what I already had for the price they were offering. I offered to buy the package in good faith and then they refund just the base game. They denied my claim (automatic probably due to the reply) which I was expecting anyway so no hard feelings. A week later I find the whole packaged twice as cheap on sale, meaning I actually saved money and would of spent more had Steam initially refunded me. All is well. ^^!

When you buy a bundle, it takes off the price of any pre-owned items before the discount is applied so buying the bundle would have saved you the bundle total discount from the base game, so not much.

Right but it was not a bundle, but a package or some other thing. Bundles work in subtracting what you already own. Spiderweb Software and most others work like that. Bethesda apparently does not. It's all or nothing.
