This is a random question out of pure curiosity but do steam community mods get any perks? it dont matter if they do or dont im just curious

They get a cool star next to their name.

They can edit, remove users' post and warn/ban them.
They also get a 500xp badge, there's probably more, I don't really know.

Some game developers rewards their assigned Community Mods on Steam Hub with the DLCs of that respective game. It's mostly on F2P games with frequently released DLC packs.

I have been there a couple of times. Long flight from Europe. Actually won a trip there once.
