I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED MY STEAM SHORTCUT. HELP
now I have to open it from .exe file that is located within the steam folder. I dont want to move my steam apps because I don't want to risk losing game files. So I am thinking I'm gonna re download the launcher on the same file path. Does it work? I am doing this for just the STEAM shortcut to comeback. Note: i cant recover the Steam shortcut on some recovery software because the size is too small.

Right click the exe>create shortcut.

Shortcuts can be made at any time on any executable. Deleting the shortcut never removes the program itself. Just make a new shortcut and move it to the desktop.

Uhm, highlight Steam.exe in your steam folder. Then press Controll and C at the same time.
Now click on your desktop. Click on a position where no items are. Press Controll and V at the same time.

That will actually copy the Steam.exe file, not create a shortcut.

To make a shortcut, click on and hold the Steam.exe, and move it to the desktop. Note how it says "Move to desktop". Don't let go, and hold the left Alt key to change to "Create link in desktop", then let go.

but the problem is when i create a shortcut, it also adds some other necessary extension files with it thus making my monitor full of .dll files etc. How can I fix that tho?
