STEAM WEB HELPER MAKES NOTIFICATION SOUNDS NON STOP!
recently everytime i play a game on steam i hear notification sounds NON STOP, i open my sound mixer and i see steam web helper bar goin up so is that.. How to turn that off?
and why is so annoying makes sounds non stop?

The web Helper service, process all notifications sound from your friends list and other notifications like friends become "online/offline/join a game/ etc".

There are settings to enable/disable the various sounds and related notification popups under the gear icon in the top right of the friends list.

Find what is triggering the sound in the first place.

I would turn of the extension while you are using steam yourself

Need help, keep getting beep sounds from steam web helper!
while i play games on steam i hear a sound of a beep every 2 seconds, i check my sound mixer and its coming from steam web helper, how to turn it off ,how to stop it?

how to turn it off? i press control alt delete i go to active programs i press end task but it doesnt close, any way to make it stop?

i still cant play any game on steam without hearing beeping sounds from STEAM web helper, if anyone can help me i will very much appreciate it! thanks!
i check online for solution but didnt find anyone else having same issue,
