How to clear steam cloud saved games?
I am playing Rise of Nations, and close to 300 games got stored in the cloud, every time when I login to steam those games get restored onto my local computer, I really don't want those saved games anymore, so how could I clear my steam cloud cache?

Please help with step by step instructions if you can, thanks in advance.

Only way to remove data from cloud storage I'm aware of is running the game, then while game is running delete all saves for that game on your computer and then quit the game normally. Cloud syncing should then clear that game's cloud storage.

In last-resort cases you can write to Steam Support and ask them to do this for you, they tend to only do it for one game at a time (so if you asked them to nuke the Steam cloud for all game they would refuse).

Does the game offer a way to remove save states? Many do. Delete those saved states from within the game and let Steam do the rest.
I did that with The Witcher 2 when my cloud space began to run low.

Thanks guys

@Reboot - no Rise of nations dont offer save states option.
@anonymous helper - I tried, it works temporarily but then when you log off and log back in it is restored.
@Laptop , may be I should try it that way.

But strange Steam doesn't provide an option to delete cloud storage.

You deleted the saves while game was running and exited game normally?
It's important that game is running while you delete the saves as it will sync to cloud when you exit from the game and if you don't have something on your computer that is on cloud, it will be removed from cloud. Make sure you let Steam do the cloud sync to the end (check your library after you exit. should say syncing or something next to game name if it's doing cloud sync. The process will be interrupted if you close Steam or shut down computer while cloud sync is in progress.).

Btw, you can check what's in your cloud storage here:

https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

I recently deleted 1.7 GB of saves (170+ saves) for Shadow Empire from my computer while game was running and they were removed from cloud when I exited the game.

Yes "Anonymous Helper", I tried that, it solved temporarily, in the sense when I switched off my computer and switched on the computer those files were missing [happy news], but moment you logoff from computer and relogin those files come back which is kind of sorry state.

And yes I removed those files from my PC during the game [before closing the game] and closed the game and closed the steam for it to sync, it didn't work.
