Library: Game Covers
Hey there!

Whenever I click on a category, all the games listed will show up on the right with those horrible covers. I was wondering if there was a way to disable them completely.

You can only hide the collections completely. If you want different cover artwork, you can rightclick the game with the cover you don't like and apply your own with any (edit: PNG or JPEG) image file in a 600x900p format.

You can get cover arts for games that come without one and maybe some alternative ones on steamgriddb.

Steam really needs a way to show the full-featured library without pictures. Depending on pictures to figure out what the games are, and not even giving plaintext names beneath them, is really silly.

I'd suggest List View but that was killed off in the big UI update in late 2019.
