Why do people treat VAC banned players like human garbage?

Seriously. Id like to know why. Why do people act to us like a garbage? Of course some people with VAC are acting rude, but we are not all the same. Only because of VAC ban people treat us like human garbage and some even block us if we want to add them to a friend list.

I've run into a VAC discussion this morning, you know how it is "i didnt cheat" blah blah so i suggested him that he COULD ask support why but then i went on his profile and i saw that his ban is already like more than a week old so if he was innocent, he would have been unbaned anyway. Later that day a guy that is on steam for 17 years replied and shortly after that i was noticed by Forum guy that the comment i told you about few moments ago was "inappropriate"

When i looked at the guys account he treats people with VAC bans like human garbage, there are more people out there that would back me up on this guy and his aggresion and hell even the Forum dudes are backing him up. I will not mention his name.

This is a normal discussion so please everyone behave. If this thread gets closed then its obvious that the moderators of this forum are backing him up.

So again.. why do u treat us like garbage?

Well this is what players agree to and accept and from my experience VAC seems to be very reliable and it wouldn't be in Valve's interest to ban innocent players. If your account plays on a device where KNOW cheats reside and are detected by the anti-cheat when in-game, you get banned whether you were actively cheating or not. Not everything has to be a 'cheat' either - it can be a forbidden process or injection that tampers with the games core file directory.

This the foundation to any anti-cheat. No need to be paranoid and not everything needs to be viewed as some conspiracy. All users have to do is install the game, play it and that's it really.

Well, nobody engaged or insulted the OP, he was spreading misleading informations, thats all.

The VAC forum is a mess, and to tell people they should contact the Support etc, is just pointless.

Thats why i tried to inform this person, not sure what happend after that. But iam pretty sure, nobdy called him trash.

Not suprised at all. Their complaints are par for the course for the typical vac user dishonesty we see every day in the forums.

Possible, some users are only active in the VAC forum to troll VAC banned people.

Anyway OP decided to cheat and thats his on fault. His ban is so old, and he didn`t even bothered to read the link on his profile. Otherwise he would know that the Support will not remove VAC bans.

That is false. Contacting anyone regarding the VAC ban is meaningless. Neither support nor the developer can remove a VAC Ban. It's 100% automated.

VAC bans are pretty reliable but there are users who have had them removed after contacting Support. Valve has been known to make mistakes, such as the mass VAC ban for COD2 caused by an unregistered DLL file. At the very least, Support can give additional information to VAC banned users. Again, neither users or forum moderators will or can appeal or remove VAC bans.

The process has changed now - the wizard prevents users from contacting support about bans. If they do manage to backdoor a ticket using a different issue, Support just links them the knowledgebase article and the forum whilst warning users not to contact them again about the issue and any future tickets will be closed.

If that was the case in the past its not the case anymore nor has it been for quite a long time. VAC and support are totally separate.

People threat cheaters like garbage not because they are cheaters, but because at some point you guys went like "oh boi, I'm gonna be a full blown douchebag and the ruin the game for others" so yeah, don't be surprised if people don't want to stick around with you.

You assume the person you direct your anger towards is the same one who did the cheating. And it may not be the case.
