The games included for unlimited access to EA play while you're subscribed are "free", or available to subscribers to play.
Fair warning: when you subscribe to EA play on Steam, you only get access to titles on Steam. When you subscribe to it on Origin, their own service, you get access to all titles there, which are (way) more than on Steam.

Nothing is free. You are paying for a subscription.
And like Drab wrote, get the subscription on Origin. Way more games included for the same price then on Steam.
Unless you really want the Steam achievements and such.
