Is it still possible to hide a game ban on your profile?

So yeah I have been banned inn Dead by Daylight, not for cheating but for ''chat abuse''. The devs wont tell me exactly why or anything so I made my peace with it. I read online that you could
''hide'' the ban by permanently removing the game from your account. Does this still work?

IP bans don't work, I can change my IP in a few secs if I want to. Even resetting my router changes my IP.

Oof. Off topic, but it's one of the reasons why I stopped playing online...I heard people getting, and even that game specifically handing out BS bans that puts Twitch moderation to shame. IDK, I always think anything chat related should be a suspension (of course, getting longer the more you do it) not an outright ban, just because we all slip up and should've have a harsh penalty for it. I know you arent replying to me, but if you read the whole thread you would have seen that I never said I got punished for no reason. Wasnt even the point of the topic as you can see by the title but I do think a perma ban is a bit too much.

And Steam could probably never revoke their right to ban since you agree to their terms by playing the game. And their terms state that they can ban you for whatever reason and for how long they want without discussion.

Yeye, I never complained about moderation because it never affected me. In some way you are right because my comment in that game needed moderation however I dont think its necessary to completely exclude someone who misstepped one time.

you threatened someone. nobody on their end can know exactly what was in your head when you did it.

does not matter if you say now "but it wasn't serious" or "i was just defending myself"
