More game devs are slowly adding more of a selection other than anime.
You know, it's pretty repulsive to think that kids as young as 8 will be exposed to this type of thing. I had to be a puritan here, but they should at least add a NSFW section, giving people some more degree of control.
Nothing as of now is NSFW.

Does family view extend to the Steam points shop? Also, what are you talking about, it is clearly NSFW. There's imagery of depraved catgirls kissing each other's necks, an image of a white haired catgirl exposing her rump and various other anime figures, who are obscured, albeit conspicuously semi nude.
Read post 7 in the thread I added to my post above.
Post 7 is related to you sending a link regarding concocting items for the points shop. Listen, I think you might have misinterpreted what i'm saying, I don't wish to be a SLAVE for Steam, destined to churn out shoddy animated profiles and emoticons. What I want is for this garbage to get off this platform and return to Hentai Haven where it belongs.
They aren't going anywhere unless they violate the rules.
Join the suggestion thread.
Anime is popular and mainstream, therefore it's not going anywhere. Point-shop filters will definitely be implemented sooner or later, given how often it's been suggested and especially as more and more shovelware-devs put stuff on there to promote their games.
It was either doing that or explicitly requiring all point shop content to be SFW, and they chose to go with the latter. I mean why would they ever intentionally cripple their point shop by choosing the former? There is room for a grey area in all of this, I do not deny that, but there is no reason to assume that NSFW content creators can't compress themselves and make point shop content that is more widely accepted. Rather than single them out on their NSFW rating/ genre.
How are they even remotely pagan lol, they blatantly have crosses adjacent to their name, indicating that it'd be Christian orientated. Learn your religious symbols before you hastily throw around accusations like that.
Also, what is with this recent wave of stick-in-the-mud anti anime posters?
