Screen protector on Steam deck etched glass

Any one know if we will be able to put a screen protector on the steam deck with etched glass?

Yes, but you'll lose the anti-glare properties. You can use an anti-glare screen protector if you want, but then why have anti-glare etched glass in the first place?
