You are a moderator? Jesus christ...
How about you don't answer anything or maybe instruct people who actually know the answer to the post, if YOU can only start by insulting people? Your "answer" added nothing constructive to my question.
Not entirely sure who is insulting you either.
You did not offer a solution.
And at the moment you are acting very unprofessionally. Please ask your superiors to teach you how to act professionally.
If you are not interested in a solution I might as well lock this up.
You know what, here, let me show you:
"Hmm, someone started a thread in the forums about a possible breach of their privacy. I better send this forward to the developers and inform the thread that it has been sent forward and hopefully, with the developers busy schedule, they can see how to fix it."
What you did:
"Hmm, I'll just offer this non-solution."
The developers read this forum, no need for me to pass it on. Especially if there is a (possible) solution readily available to you.
I have not edited the OP! HOW DARE YOU!
Disabling a community profile is not the solution. What you are describing is dropping a nuke to a small pond. The activity box should be disabled with the rest of the community content.
My profile is private and unfriending should never be a solution.
Although maybe Matt's suggestion could work as well.
The options are opt'in, so if you dont want to use the social features, simply dont.
What part of "breach of privacy" is too hard for you to understand?
