Re-enable Steam Cloud for one game at a time?
I disabled Steam Cloud quite a while back, and now I want to turn it back on for migrating to a new computer. I have a local backup, but games store their stuff in weird places, so it's hard to know if it's really complete until it's too late.

Ideally, I would like to enable Cloud sync for one game at a time, check it, and then proceed to the next, so if something goes wrong, it's at least limited to one game.

Now my questions:

- When I re-enable Steam Cloud (on the account level), will it be automatically enabled for all games by default?

- If yes: Will it start syncing all supported games right away, or only when I actually start them?

- There are quite a few reports of losing save files when turning on Steam Cloud after playing with it disabled. Is that still a frequent problem, or has it become better?

Thanks

Yes.

You must first start the game.

That only happens when users choose the wrong option when the pop up comes up. Read the pop up carefully and do not choose to use the cloud saves when asked upon first launch.

Thanks :) And that's good to hear on point 3.

Is there a steam account setting that can disable all our steam cloud game. I only manually disable some of them by turning off inside their game setting not steam account setting.
