I did my annual password change with my email, text message, Steam guard, blah blah blah. Now I have to wait five days for market activity? Seriously?

I DO appreciate the multiple levels of security that Steam offers. But after FIFTEEN YEARS WITHOUT INCIDENT... Just cut me some slack? Hey? Hello?

No I do not play CS:GO or TF, nor do I give a crap about skins for those games. I have inventory items that I would like to sell to purchase a game.

Whatever. See you in another 15 years.

Nothing in the world can prevent scams. The flaw will always be the end user.

This was made intend to reduce the chance of getting scam, not prevent it, as there's no such things as to prevent anything from getting hijack to scam, aslong it's always the end user.

No offense but with how cheap phone right, I am sure everyone would have one by now.

You technically even purchase extra for a single pc game and owning one. Yet you can't afford a 100 bucks phone?

You can get smart phone even cheaper than $100, like on Amazon, eBay, or etc... Just check with the phone service you plan to go with, and check if the connection is supported with the said phone when you add a simcard to it, can even get pay as you go phones as well, where you can buy the phone, pay only for that one month, or even get that one month free depending on the service, and can cancel the service, and reactivate it anytime you want later on. There can be services that has pay as you go for $10 a month.

I don't even pay a dime for phone internet service, considering I use wi-fi everywhere I went.

And logging in steam guard code doesn't require connection. So no problems I guess.

So it do be weird if someone complaining about "not having phones" nowadays.

I mean you only need to pay once really for the service, to get the sms text, to activate your steam guard on the device, and then you can cancel the plan right after, heck you can skip that if wanted, if you use someone else phone number like your family members if you wanted.
