Library Bug? New "Feature" That Can't Be Turned Off?

This happened recently, I'm assuming with the recent update. After playing a game and then quitting the game, the next time I open my Steam client it goes to the game's page in the Library, instead of the general Library view that I ALWAYS use and almost NEVER use the individual game's pages.

This is not behavior I have ever wanted from Steam. I did not turn this on. I want to turn this off. This is a BUG, not a feature. Stop forcing bad decisions on your users.

Happens to me just starting a game. Steam goes to that game's page. Really annoying having to hit back, then collapse the category the game is in whenever I play something. It needs to go.

When I close a game, I often go to the Library to check that Steam did in fact close it, and to consider what game I want to play next. I don't want to see the page of the game I just closed. I have a shelf for games I'm currently playing through, or will be, and I want to see that.

Precisely. Every time it happens, I have to click to go back to the Library home, where I can view everything.
And I launch all of my games through my quickbar anyway with shortcuts, I don't launch them from Steam most of the time. So it was always preferable to have the Library home be the default whenever I opened Steam. They've literally added an anti-feature if it was intentional.

Same. I hope Valve listen and fix it or add it as an option in settings. I rarely look at, or want to look at, the game details page but it's the category list on the left expanding that really winds me up.
