Do report bots do anything?
So basically I voted to kick a hacker from a game I was playing and he got mad so he send me a screenshot of him using a report bot on me along side with other ramblings saying I'll get banned in two hours. Is there something I can do or I just sit here and wait?

What if he was successful? I mean I highly doubt it, but just in case.

Sit and wait as nothing happens. Even if you get massively reported, you still need to be judged by a team of Overwatchers (assuming we're talking about CSGO) before anything happens.

In short, if you did nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about.

Unless there is any credibility in the report then it wont be. There is strict systems in play to stop fabricated reports from being successful. It's just some angry rager who probably does this to everyone each day.

That's what worries me, I know how CS:GO report system works, but the thing is he reported my Steam profile, not in-game. I am not familiar with how the system works.

As far as I know, profile reports about games are for statistics only. If people want action to be taken, they must report in-game, and that won't really work if you're innocent.

Nothing to worry about. Even if you get mass reported on Steam for any reason, they still investigate the claims anyway.

If the there is nothing to actually be acted on in the reports, no punishment will be handed out.

Here's a snippet from an unrelated but relevant article:-

''If someone did report your account falsely, you can rest assured that Steam disregards false reports''
