My point is, wishlist it and wait for that sweet "yo dawg, yo game is sale"-email from Steam.
Btw by big Japanese game sale you meant golden week?. You will have to wait next April.

Not everyone has the luxury to check steam store page everyday. And themed sale helps you to discover games from certain genre
That's why I use isthereanydeal. And on top of watching the Steam store for sales, they also watch "all" other stores :-)
That's a different subject; I like to use sales for that purpose as well, especially small sales.
Yea i can see a flaw in that argument.
How are you supose to play those games if you cant spend atleast few minuts on the store page, to see if its any deals going on?
Becide wish list/ignore exist for a reason, so you could train steam to show what you like in store front.
