When is the next big japanese game sale?
I remember last year we got a huge sale specifically for japanese games. I'm planning to get the new ff remastered and nocturne this year

Why waiting for a themed sale? Games go on sale more or less constantly. Weekend sales, week long sales, random sales, for-the-sake-of-it sales. There's no technical, legal, moral or whatnot obligation for a Japanese game NOT to go on sale outside of a Japan-themed sale.

My point is, wishlist it and wait for that sweet "yo dawg, yo game is sale"-email from Steam.

... you can still use those 2 kilobucks to buy games one-by-one when they go on sale one-by-one. There's no additional savings when buying games en masse.

Not everyone has the luxury to check steam store page everyday. And themed sale helps you to discover games from certain genre

That's why I use isthereanydeal. And on top of watching the Steam store for sales, they also watch "all" other stores :-)

That's a different subject; I like to use sales for that purpose as well, especially small sales.

Yea i can see a flaw in that argument.
How are you supose to play those games if you cant spend atleast few minuts on the store page, to see if its any deals going on?
Becide wish list/ignore exist for a reason, so you could train steam to show what you like in store front.

Add game to Wishlist. When game go on sale, you get email telling you it's cheaper. Buy game.
