Adult games
Do adult games mean only games about sex? like those visual novels with porn? Or do they also include games with high levels of gore, violence or more mature themes? Because I would like to be able to see all the games except games about sex, Does unchecking adult games does that? Or will I lose the ability to see the other games as well?

Hello!

You can head into your Account Preferences here:

https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences

Once there, you can tinker with your preferences to what type of adult content you want to see.

In your case, you might want to keep everything checked except "Adult Only Sexual Content". If on doubt, you could check the "Product examples" under each option to see what might get hidden/shown.

Hope that helps.

You mean the settings here?

I think it says pretty clearly what it means.
"Adult only sexual content" is just that (porn), and unchecking it will not hide anything else.

Gore and violence has it's own checkbox

Idk how I missed that, lmao... Thanks a lot. But, will games like GTA, for example, that contains some nudity but are not sex games... will be left out because of this?

You got it all wrong...

Yes, it's all the above you mentioned when talking about Adult Games, but
actually the Adult Games are divided into 3 Parts...

Mature Content or Rated R = Lots of Violence & Lots Of Mature Language
Un-Rated = Blood & Gore (Extra Use Of)
Rated X & Rated A/O = The Content they don't want around (Un-Censored Content)

This isn't a perfect Description, so it's not 100% Accurate, but it's something like this...

Teen Content, not for specifically Adults, can still have Mature Language & Violence,
but it has a significant less amount involved, & a lot more Censored...

Higher the Ratings, the more Adult the content gets, & less Censored it becomes,
the Lower the Ratings, the more Childish the content gets, & more Censored it becomes...

------------------------------------------------------

Does this help clear things up?
