Comments in steam profile

I only can comment in my friends steam profile, and when i try to comment in random guys, i cant. If anyone could help me

They may not allow strangers or anyone to comment on their profile.
My comment section is open to all, try it and tell me if it works or not.

Most people don't want random people spamming them...
It's part of the profile settings to turn it on or off.

Each users can choose who can post comment on their profile: public, friends only, or no one.

I cant even comment your pprofile, maybe because my account is new? or because steam guard have to be active for 2 weeks?

u need badges level 1
click through badges and u find what i mean :D
had the same problem till now
found a thread with this solution and now i can comment :))

You don't need level 1. You were level 1 a full 6 days ago.

this thread maked me think... so i checked my account settings, and things i wanted to be public were friends only, like commenting or see my games, and i didn't know that... steam... sometimes i hate you...

Those settings aren't defaulted to friends only.
